As you can tell from the pictures, Gabe is really into John Deere tractors. Aunt Marcy, we had a wonderful time and we know we are making great memories for the boys! We are looking forward to next month to celebrate Will's (aka "firecracker's") birthday! Gabe, we hope you had a great birthday weekend, thanks so much for letting us celebrate with you, you guys certainly know how to throw a party! We love you guys!

KACHOW
"Mama, can we put the flag up today?"
Jack believes he is "lighting mcqueen", all day long I hear....." Speed....I am speed...Kachow"!
The kid is a crack up. The other day my Mom (aka Meema) and I were on the phone and we told Jack that the Cubs lost, and he started crying, I mean full tears and all, of course we were cracking up which only made Jack even more sad. We couldn't figure out how he could understand about the Cubs losing and then it registered, we take down the "W" flag when the Cubs lose and that breaks his heart! So here is hoping for a Cubs victory so the "W" flag can be flying again!

Happy Easter
"Happy Easter Meema!"
Happy Easter! Jack had the most wonderful day, how could you not when you get to start eating candy at 730am! The Easter Bunny left lots of candy and toys for Jack. Brunch was a big success. Thanks to everyone who came and all the wonderful gifts you gave Jack.....this child is definitely spoiled, however we would have it no other way! We missed everyone who couldn't make it and hope you all had a great Easter! WE love you!

Big Boy Undies
Well it is official, Jack is potty trained. I have been skeptical on posting thinking we would have a relapse, however Jack is doing GREAT! We are out of our training pants and into big boy underwear and let me tell you Jack is loving it! He especially loves the "big trucks" and "cookie" undies. Jack is OBSESSED with big trucks and cookies and we now even call Aunt Jujee..Cookie. Jack is very excited for Easter because he believes the Easter Bunny will be bringing him lots of candy and cookies!!! Last night I took Luke and Jack to see the Easter Bunny and then playtime at McDonald's!

US Citizen
Daddy and you all happy to be in Dallas!
You & Aunt Jane
Your 1st car seat experience
Jack,
Two years ago today we flew home from Guatemala and you became a US citizen. We flew into Dallas and you did amazing on the trip, you slept the whole time. You were all smiles once we landed and on our trip from Dallas to Chicago you slept some more. Meema, Aunt Jane & Uncle Ice met us at the airport and when we got home they decorated the outside of our house to welcome you home. You loved your car seat and were so interested in your new surroundings. Grandpa came to the house to meet you and your first night in your new home you were in love! We love more than words can say!

Embassy Day
Morning of Embassy Day...happy as could be!
Jack,
Two years ago today we went to the Embassy to complete our adoption. Daddy & I were nervous, but you were happy as could be. We were up early and the 1st stop was to have your passport photo taken and you would NOT smile, you kept looking at everyone like they were crazy. Then to the embassy and we waited, we were with another family and in a few short hours we were pack at the Marriott and went swimming to celebrate! We had dinner with the King family, Cameron and you were so excited that you slept! The next day we got to pick up your passport and one more day and then we got to fly home for good! What an amazing time in our life and we are so blessed to have you in our family! We love you!!
