Happy Birthday Jack!! We can not believe you are two! Today you brought in "co cos" & elmo fruit punch to school to celebrate with your friends! They made you a crown to wear for the day....you were the King! Tonight we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate with Aunt Marci & "Duke". We know you had a great day! We love you and we are so fortunate to have you part of our family!!

Saturday we had Jack's 2nd birthday party (he turns 2 on the 4th) and it was a HUGE success! We appreciate everyone coming and celebrating with us! Jack really had a great time and we are very appreciative for all the generous gifts! Special thank you to Auntie Anne for making the "elmo" cupcakes, that was a big hit with Jack! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. We love you guys!!

Well this weekend we are celebrating Jack's 2nd birthday. Our theme is Jack's two favorite things....Elmo & Go Cubs. Over the summer we took a family vacation to Sesame Place in PA, and honestly Jack had the best time! I would recommend it to anyone! Here are a few pictures that capture our first family vacation! Just wanted to post some pictures from Jack's play date with Sophie (Jack's future wife). Nancy and Sophie made the trek out to McTucky to visit and swim in the "pool". I think the kiddos had a great time! Isn't Sophie just a little doll. We are looking forward to our next adventure with Sophie and Nancy :)

Today was Jack's first day at a new daycare, actually it is more like school than his previous place. We practiced last night with our backpack on and today Jack did really well when I dropped him off. I was a little concerned that he would have a hard time since he has been home the last month but overall he did pretty well.

Unfortunately Jack did NOT nap at school today, apparently he was trying to wake up his "friends" to play with them especially one little girl. We will also be working on our "listening" skills since Jack likes to do what he wants to.....very interesting!

1st Cubs Game

We went to Jack's first Cubs Game on Saturday and it was a HOT one! Jack had his first Cab ride and first limo ride all in one day!We had so much fun and the Cubs Won so we got to sing not only "Take Me Out to the Ballgame, but "Go Cubs Go!!!"

Thanks to MeMa, Aunt MeMe, Aunt Jane, Uncle Ice, Aunt Ju, Cousin Andy for coming to the game with us! And to Uncle Johnny Funn for meeting us after the game to celebrate a Cubs win!!

Pre Cubs Game

What a wonderful and fun weekend we had in the city to celebrate Jack's 1st Cubs game. As many of you know, Jack is truly OBSESSED with "Go Cubs". Here are some pictures from Friday night in the hotel with Jack's favorite cousin "ANDY".

Today Jack and I went to say goodbye to his buddies at daycare. He will be starting at a new place but kept asking to see "Cole". Cole is the little guy in the black shirt and Jack and him were best buds!

We brought in "coo coos" for snack time...notice Jack's teeth....good thing we just went to the dentist :)

1st Trip to the Dentist

Today was our 1st dentist appointment and overall Jack did well. His 2 year molars are not in as of yet but are very close. Of course he was having fun but got a little scared once the doctor walked in and kept saying "All Done" "All Done"....Too cute!

Surgery......

Well our little man had surgery today, he had tubes put in and now we are praying that his ear infections will diminish! Jack did awesome!!! He truly amazes me, he certainly doesn't miss a beat. Here are a few pictures to capture the day, you will notice even "moon" got a hospital bracelet!
