Jack got to play with his "brothers" over the weekend and needless to say they had a blast! It is truly amazing how these 3 boys, about a year apart, can play and get along so well! We even ventured out to "Chuck E Cheese" for some fun....what were Dan and I thinking??? Seriously it was great and the boys had so much fun and that is all that matters!

Guess who was accident free today at school.....that's right, great job Jack! When we put Jack's big boy underwear on this morning, he was very excited because there were baseballs on it, so Mommy told him if no accidents then he could wear them all day, who knows if that is the reason or not but Mommy is going to wash those undies and try again tomorrow! Jack, we are so PROUD of you!!!!

It's Potty Time

Jack got to choose his candy, after an hour in the store, we decided on these two!

Over the weekend we officially started the potty training! Jack is now wearing his "big boy" underwear and is very proud of himself! It is funny, every time he is on the potty he thinks he has to go #2, we are working on that! Jack is only wearing a diaper at nap time and night time and has only had a few accidents each day. Every day Jack is improving with less accidents, and I suppose a little bribing never hurt anyone, especially when candy is involved! Jack, we are very proud of you, keep up the great job!

Pajama Day

Yesterday and today were pajama day at school. Jack was not into wearing his pj's to school at all but then I told him everyone including his teachers Ms. Tricia & Ms. Joan would be in their pj's too; he decided that it was OK to wear his pj's! Jack you are definitely a child that likes routine! Today when Jack walked in wearing his jammies with his name on it, all the teachers were commenting how handsome he looked and he just strutted on by to see his friends! Jack you are a crack up!

2.5 years old

Today you are 2 1/2" years old, where does the time go?? It seems just like yesterday Mommy and Daddy were in Guatemala to bring you home! We are so blessed that God chose us to be your Mommy and Daddy! We love you!!

This week at school for Jack is "crazy" week, yesterday was wear a crazy hat day. He picked Daddy's hat. Jack was having a great time with the hat. Today is silly sock day and he has to wear mismatched socks. This did not go over very well with Jack, he didn't like the fact that is socks did not match. I will have to remind him of this when he is older because I am sure he won't be dressing the way his mother would like him too! Have a crazy week everyone!!

Jack had so much fun watching his cousin Andy play in a basketball tourney this weekend! Jack can't wait to start playing b-ball himself! He loves to run and run and run! Andy you played awesome and congrats on winning 2nd place!!

Another road trip! We went to visit Jack's "brothers", Gabe and Will. Oh what fun the three of them had, they are going to be best buddies, and most definitely will be causing lots of trouble when they are all together! Thanks Aunt Marcy for hosting and we are looking forward to our monthly play dates! We love you!

Put Down the Duckie

Well Jack had his first Valentine Party today at school, notice how much sugar he must of had with all the running around. Uncle Ice this is for you, we tried to get Jack to sit still and "play" the saxophone but this is the best would could get today. We will try again......Cousin Andy and Guncle notice the trophy, we carry it with us wherever we go....big hit!!!

Off to St. Louis to visit Aunt Jujee, to help celebrate her birthday! Jack had a blast! Of course going to Aunt Jujee's school to see the other kids was a highlight except when Mama was holding Lily, Jack said "NO MAMA NO".....wow I guess Jack is not ready for a sibling! We also visited the Magic House, what a really cool place! We definitely need to go back since I think we only saw about 1/4 of the place! Jack was on total overload! Thanks Aunt Jujee for a wonderful visit and looking forward to coming again!! We love you!!

Grandpa Jack

Jack,
It was 8 years ago today that your Grandpa, Mommy's Daddy went to heaven to be with God. It brings tears to my eyes to think that my Dad never had the chance to meet you but we know that we will all be together again some day. He would be so proud of you and honored that you are named after him. He was a wonderful man and Mommy just hopes that she can instill some of the great qualities he was as a parent. We certainly do miss him but know that he is definitely in a happier place!
