Happy New Year & Big Boy Bed

"It's time to get up Mommy & Daddy"

"Do I really get to sleep in this bed tonight?"

"Mommy isn't this bed cooler than the Elmo bed??"

Big night in the Buehrer household, Jack is moving to a big boy bed! Jack is very very excited! We will see tonight how he does, as you can see the crib is still in the bedroom, just in case Jack decides to roam the house at 3am! Our baby boy is turning into such a big boy, way too fast! We hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!!!

Christmas Day & Night

"Mommy, do we need this?"

"Come on Unlce John, we have to BOWL!"

"Watching Polar Express with Meema & Aunt Jujee"

"Cheessse Mommy"

" I LOVE Christmas!"

Well everyone came to our house on Christmas day for our Italian themed dinner. More presents to open and once again Jack had a blast! My 8 pm he was on overload and quite slap happy! He looks like a little elf in his pj's, too cute! Thank you to all for your generous gifts and all of your help! We love you!

Christmas Morning

"Mommy, Santa brought Sponge Bob band aids"

"Mommy do you love my new Elmo hat?"

"Daddy, see me on my new big wheel!"

"I need to feed Elmo some eggs and Chocolate Milk!"

"Daddy, do you want some eggs?"

Here is Christmas morning and Jack was quite pleased with what Santa has brought him! I think the Elmo kitchen has been the biggest hit, Jack has been making eggs for the last 3 days non stop! It is amazing to see Christmas through a 2 year old's eyes! Needless to say, Santa you did a great job once again!

Christmas Eve

Playing the guitar with Aunt Jujee

Basketball, Daddy can you open this please!

Mommy no more pictures I have to open more presents!

Me & Andy, taking a break from basketball
( I LOVE this picture!!!)

Wow did Jack make out once again this year, he must have been a very good boy! We still have Christmas with Daddy's side of the family since we had to postpone due to weather! Christmas Eve we went to Guncle, Auntie Anne & Andy's house, it was wonderful! Great food, great drinks and of course great company! Jack had a blast as you will see from him opening all his gifts! Thanks everyone, we love you!!

Ready Santa

Daddy has been working very hard with Jack to answer him when Daddy says "Ready Rudolph?" At first the answer was "Ready Rudolph!" Then Daddy explained no Jack says Ready Santa, so Daddy would ask "Ready Rudolph and Jack would say "No Jack says ready Santa!" After a few days Jack now understands....."Ready Rudolph.....Ready Santa!" Too cute!

1st Real Boo Boo

"Mommy, I hurt my knee too"

"Can we put a big truck band aid on my forehead?"

"Mommy is it still bleeding?"

"Good thing Aunt Jane the nurse is here!"

Well over the weekend we had our cookie bake marathon, every year it seems to get longer and longer. This year it was over 20 hours of baking, are we crazy or what?? Jack was having a ball, and of course testing lots of cookies and running and running with his cousin Andy and Luke. Well Jack hit his head on the corner of Daddy's desk and thankfully we did not have to take him to the hospital for stitches! Jack you were a very brave boy!!!

Oh Christmas Tree

" I LOVE this tree Mommy & Daddy!"

" I am sure this is the one I want!"

"This tree is soooooooo big!"

"Mommy, can you see my nooman?"

I LOVE this tree!!!

Our family tradition to go and cut down our Christmas tree was tons of fun this year. We told Jack that he could pick out our tree, didn't matter if it was small or big or skinny or fat. Jack picked out a great tree (even though we were trying to persuade his decision on picking a different tree), he loved this tree so this is the one we got! Over the weekend we decorated the tree, let me tell you what a difference it is decorating a tree with a 2 year old! Mommy and Daddy had lots of laughs, and Jack preferred one branch to put all the ornaments on. He is also very concern as to where the "Ernie" ornament is! Jack you bring so much joy to our lives we couldn't even begin to tell you!

Jack's 1st Snowman

"Mommy is his head going to fall off again?"

"Hi Mommy, can you see my snowman?"

"baby it's cold outside...meema"

Well we got some snow this week and while Mommy was in Texas, Daddy and Jack built the first snowman. They used rocks for the eyes and apparently when Jack went to pat it the head fell off and Jack was quite upset! Of course Daddy to the rescue! When Mommy came home we added the scarf, Jack thought that was pretty cool! The head looks a little like "Noo Noo"

Ho Ho Ho!

"Mommy, Daddy & I love staying at the hotel!"

"Yes Santa I have been a very good boy!"

"Playing while waiting for Santa!" (notice the sign)

Mommy, are you sure Santa is here?"

This past weekend we went into the city and stayed at our favorite hotel and did some shopping, went to see Santa, more shopping, room service, more shopping and relaxed! We did have a wonderful time and Jack was AWESOME!!! He told Santa that he wanted a "choo choo train" and a "big truck!" Jack loves staying at hotels, he was in total vacation mode! Jumping on beds, another big highlight is going to get "ice baby ice" for Mommy! The kid is a crack up!

"My cool coat & hat that Mommy got a great deal on!"

Well we celebrated our 2nd thanksgiving, this time with Mommy's family! Thanks to Aunt Jane & Uncle Ice for a great day and lots of ymmy food! Then Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Jane, Auntie Anne, Aunt Julee & Cousin Andy hit the outlet malls at midnight. Apparently Mommy & Aunt Julee could of gone shopping all night but the others "pooped out!" Mommy got me a really cool coat and hat but I think it is "TOO BIG!!"
