Baseball Hall of Fame

The picture says it all!

"Mommy, how tall am I?"

"Daddy, I need this for my room!"

One day on our vacation we went with Andy's team to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Of course Jack was running around looking for "Go Cubs" stuff and trust me there was plenty! I LOVE the fact that Jack is so into baseball, I just wish my Dad was here to see his grandson in action, he would get the biggest kick out of him and his love of the game!

More Baseball

"Coach Guncle, I am ready to play!"

Andy's Team

Watching some baseball with my Dad!

Cousin Andy coming off the field!

Well our next day we got to see cousin Andy play two games, they won their 1st game and loss the 2nd game! Jack was ready to get on the field and play ball. I was quite impressed with Jack and actually watching the game, of course we had to take some breaks and go out and play baseball ourselves. The other funny thing is Jack really listens to my brother (Guncle) about baseball things, how to hold the bat, how to be the "catcher", what the secret signs are for the type of pitch, when to steal a base, seriously it is like baseball is in Jack's blood!!

Can you say BASEBALL

"Opening Ceremony....before it started raining!"

"Our future hall of famer!"

"Mommy, can I really run the bases?"

"Mommy, can I stay with Andy and Guncle?"

Cousin Andy & Jack outside the barracks!

We are back safe and sound from our trip to Cooperstown NY and can I say Jack is even more obsessed with baseball now then before we left....how is that possible??? I have a feeling we might be back to Cooperstown in about 10 years seeing Jack play! Andy did awesome and he even hit a homerun and it was so exciting! Our 1st day we got to see where cousin Andy and Guncle got to sleep with the rest of the ball players, check out the baseball fields and attend opening ceremony, which included skydivers, what a show!

Show Show Pin

Jack is just talking up a storm. As I look back I have to laugh because prior to starting at his present daycare I had Jack tested because I was afraid he was far behind with his speech! This child talks non stop. Of course sometimes we don't understand what he is saying and trust me he gets frustrated, however he figures out how to communicate with us. You are one smart cookie! Our favorite saying right now is "show show pin", translated is "show you something". Jack, you are growing so fast, can we please slow down just a little bit!

HAPPY DANCE

We are doing the "happy dance" over at the Buehrer household. It has been a rough week, Jack was in the ER last Wednesday with pneumonia again. When we followed up with our pediatrician, he wanted to rule out Cystic Fibrosis because Jack seems to keep getting pneumonia. We had that test done on Tuesday and happy to say it came back NEGATIVE, what a relief! Then Mommy and Daddy got sick, but we are all on our way to being healthy again! As you can tell from the videos Jack is feeling great. One is from last night and one from this morning, and this morning's happy dance was because he got to wear his cubs shirt and they actually won last night so the flag is out!
